Position Type: Supplemental/Coaching

Position Summary:
Alliance City Schools is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to serve as the Girls Soccer Coach. The coach will be responsible for leading, teaching, and mentoring student-athletes while promoting the values of teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and academic achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and oversee all aspects of the girls soccer program.
• Plan and conduct effective practices focused on skill development, conditioning, and team strategies.
• Teach and model good sportsmanship, respect, and positive character on and off the court.
• Supervise student-athletes at all practices, games, and team events.
• Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, school staff, and administration.
• Ensure compliance with school, district, and OHSAA rules and regulations.
• Collaborate with the high school and youth coaching staff to support program alignment and development.

Qualifications:

• Prior coaching or playing experience in soccer preferred.
• Ability to build positive relationships with high school student-athletes.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must meet all requirements for coaching as outlined by the Ohio Department of Education and OHSAA (including Pupil Activity Permit, CPR/First Aid, Concussion Training, etc.).

Compensation:

• Supplemental coaching contract; compensation per Alliance City Schools district salary schedule.
